Functional Test Analyst | Contract

We are looking for a Functional Test Analyst with proven experience in test planning, execution, and defect management across diverse domains including web systems and pharmacy management platforms. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise with modern testing tools, excellent collaboration skills, and a track record of supporting SIT and UAT phases to ensure high-quality product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Test case development: Support users in creating and reviewing test cases, guiding them on effective test techniques.
• UAT preparation: Conduct system/application shakedown before user testing, prepare test data and accounts for UAT execution.
• SIT & UAT support: Collaborate with business users to execute SIT and UAT, ensuring functional accuracy.
• Defect management: Detect, record, track, and escalate software issues; coordinate fixes and resolutions with development teams.
• Regression & exploratory testing: Conduct regression and exploratory testing to identify defects and provide actionable feedback.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and timely defect resolution.

Job Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in functional testing.
• Knowledge of test planning, SIT, UAT, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Proficiency in SQL for test data preparation and validation.
• Experience with API testing using Postman.
• Excellent communication and defect documentation skills.
• Nice to have exposure to cloud-hosted systems (Microsoft Azure).
• Ability to coordinate across distributed teams and manage multiple testing streams simultaneously.
